First Impressions are Lasting Impressions

This week, Google announced a handful of updates to its Adwords and Analytics platforms designed to help your business grow in today's mobile-first world.

The Performance Summit dives into the changes Google's made to better cater to user intent and context to help grow your business. For example, longer headlines and long description lines have been updated to allow businesses 50% more ad text on a mobile device to advertise your products and services. Taking advantage of these new formats have helped early testers improve their CTR (click-through-rate) by 20%. These updates are a huge improvement to the Google platform. If you're nerds like us, you're extremely pumped to test and track these new features, and more importantly, offer clients more value in advertising campaigns and better return on investment.

Revamped Display ads, individual bidding adjustments, location-related searches, Maps ads, promoted pins, cross-exchange inventory and much more have all been updated by Google to help target users with different interests, demographics, devices and locations.
